Please upgrade Operating System version to 2.6.5-7.97-bigsmp - the current version is

Hi Experts

I am new for Linux. i need help from you.we are running Red HatLINUX version 2.6.18-164.el5PAE and some issue in Siebel application side. so oracle has recommended to upgrade RHL 2.6.18-164.el5PAE to "2.6.5-7.97-bigsmp" version ,but i think this version is support for SUSE linux. .kindly help

Yeah, that makes no sense. Why would you downgrade? 2.6.5 isn't even a RHEL kernel version (RHEL3 is 2.4.x, 4 is 2.6.9, and 5 is 2.6.18).
