need help on linux kernel scheduling from you

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have some questions on linux kernel as follows:-
I want to improve linux kernel scheduling for scalable multi core architecture.I am mtech 2nd year student of IITkgp,India(Roll No-11cs60r23).I am doing project for one year which will end on april-may 2013.I looked at sched.c,timer.c in linux source code and I looked at intel manual that is telling that timer registers can be configured in periodic/aperiodic mode. Also I looked at google. What else should I do in order to find out area of improvement of linux kernel scheduling.
thanking you,
waiting for your reply,
yours faithfully,

You've been asking such questions since June. If you want to know about Linux kernel development, go to http://www.kernel.org. Read, post, and learn. If you've been to Google about the Linux kernel, you must have come across that site by now.
