nctuns

Guys! I've got a problem..
I have Fedora 12. I installed nctunc6.0 and found the kernel entry for the same at the boot loader. But when I select the same, all I get is a blank screen with a blinking cursor on the top.
After some time, is displayed this

type=1305 audit(1322209221.269:34107):audit_enabled=0 old=1 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 res=1

I can't boot into nctuns kernel. Please help.

I use an nVidia 7300GS graphic card.

Fedora 12 NCTUns : Boots OK here. May be try to boot up a couple more times ?
Not all computers behave right at first "nctuns boot".
Else Suggest : Reinstall NCTUns.

"rdblacklist=nouveau" :
My "nctuns kernel line" in /boot/grub/grub.conf looks like this :
Code:
  	kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31.6-nctuns20091227 ro root=UUID=46704d44-e5d6-4a0b-9d15-fd9c010cffee  LANG=da_DK.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=dk-latin1 rhgb quiet rdblacklist=nouveau
And : /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf , line 41
Code:
blacklist nouveau

And : /etc/X11/xorg.conf ( It's a modified F11 copy ) for Nvidia 6600
Code:
# Xorg configuration created by livna-config-display

# Section "Files"
#	ModulePath   "/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
#	ModulePath   "/usr/lib/xorg/modules"
# EndSection

Section "ServerFlags"
#	Option	    "AIGLX" "on"
EndSection

Section "Device"
	Identifier  "Videocard0"
	Driver      "vesa"
#	Option	    "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
###	Option	    "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection

I followed the first two steps. But, X11 folder doesn't seem to contain xorg.conf file!

No.

Just use the file from post #2 : Attached as xorg.conf-F11-vesa.txt
>>> 1) su
2) cp xorg.conf-F11-vesa.txt /etc/X11/ && cd /etc/X11/
&& cp xorg.conf-F11-vesa.txt xorg.conf
Attached Files
File Type: txt xorg.conf-F11-vesa.txt (426 Bytes, 14 views)

I did that. But, nothing positive. Same old problem. A blinking cursor on a blank screen.

Well, if you are sure that all the prerequisites are installed
( updated versions ) then I'd suggest a reinstall of NCTUns.

Or : Try the install on a different computer with Fedora 12.
