ldlinux.c32 & isolinux.bin Linux Kernel 4.6.5 < Workaround

Hello, I'm trying to compile the Linux Kernel at it's bare bones state (along with BusyBox) but everytime I try to issue these commands:

Code:
make mrproper defconfig bzImage
Code:
make isoimage FDINITRD=../rootfs.cpio.gz
I get an Error Code (I don't remember on the top of my head) and it fails to compile the .iso, and its always blaming this patch.
If anyone else has experienced this issue I'd be glad to go further into the issue, but if not I guess it'll be a bit harder to compile the Linux Kernel now. :/
