Kernel upgrading from a bootable CD - possible?

I have a legacy product with a Debian etch install and kernel 2.6.18-4-amd64.
For reasons of hardware compatibility I now need to upgrade the kernel to 2.6.26-2 and without affecting the Debian version. I have successfully upgraded one install using apt-get but the other locations will not have internet access. Is it possible to put together a bootable CD that will accomplish the kernel upgrade?

There is aptoncd.

Thanks. I've tried searching for the download but every link I travel to indicates there is no download for aptoncd. Is it obsolete?

Thanks again.

Okay, let me interject a thought here: you're going to upgrade the kernel, but not everything-else. Are you certain that there is nothing in "everything else" that's going to be dependent upon the kernel-version you're about to load? I'd dry-run this scenario first.

You can also use aptzip: http://wiki.debian.org/AptZip
or apt-offline: http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/apt-offline-gui

Thanks for the recommendation. I am in the process of setting up a few test drives today in order to verify that the application software still functions. There is only one application package running in this installation. If testing is successful then I will need the boot CD to send to the field.

The aptoncd.sourceforge link takes me to a page that says 'this project has no files'. The other links seems to work fine and I will try those apps.

Thanks for your help.
