Kernel Panic During Installation

Hi,

i was trying to install Linux (Fedora Core 2) on my system having configuration of 1 GB RAM, 80GB HD, PIV Processesor. But before it could load the anaconda for the installation it starts showing the error "KERNEL PANIC". Specially after checking the memory. i could not get, what could be the possible reason for the error.

I also tried to install in other system with the same configuration. and it works fine thr.

Can any one please guide me or suggest me about what needs to be done in this case.

Thanks in advance

JD

Try installing a newer version of Fedora and see if that works better.
