kernel.org up but realtime patch still not available
So, after many, many ways of waiting, I pleasantly discovered today that kernel.org was up after nearly two weeks (?) of downtime. But, the realtime patch usually available at /pub/rt isn't there anymore.
So can somebody please point me in the direction as to where I can get the realtime patch for a 3.* kernel? |
Google says here, per this LWN article.

Hmm, okay .. I've been a bit cautious ever since the kernel.org incident, you see. Thanks.

As far as I know, and have been able to find, there are still a number of things outstanding from the rt tree. The rt devs are hoping to get it all in by the end of the year, but that hasn't happened yet. If you have pointers to contradictory information, please post it.

sorry -- my bad -- you are right -- there still is an rt patch. mysteriously not available.
earlier they had said whole tree to be folded in upstream. I guess upstream means way upstream ? |
