Question Kernel 3 will be ready for UEFI motherboards?

On this article:
Kernel Log: Hardware and "3.0" difficulties
i read about some problem for booting linux distro on UEFI motherboards.
When the kernel 3 will be available as stable release that problems will be solved?

Nope, 3.0 is just about changing the numbers, so it's not a landmark in terms of functionality in any way.
