hub_port_status failed -110

I have a Dell PowerEdge T420 running Centos 6.7
kernel: 2.6.32-504.3.3.el6.x86_64 (Yes I know needs updating)

I used to have an external USB drive connected only for a few backups. That drive stopped working and I was getting errors. I disconnected it and I am no longer using it. My USB keyboard also stopped working. I do not have ANY USB devices connected. However, errors are still generated in the message log: hub 2-1:1.0: hub_port_status failed (err = -110)and my keyboard is still not working.

I am leery of rebooting the server for fear of boot errors. I do NOT have any fstab entries for USB boot settings.

I have read a lot of similar posts out there. However, nothing has been concrete in fixing this issue.

I appreciate any help.

Thank you
