How to promote accept qps?

Hi everyone:
I write a server program and it listens in an address.I only create a thread to accept new connection.I make a test, the result: 2.5w qps for accept new connection. Then i create >=2 thread for accept new connection, sadly the qps is not improved.

Why?For that linux kernal function accept has lock?

And How to improve the qps?

Hi paddle, welcome to LQ! Are you saying qps shows 2.5 wait cpu? A bit more information might be helpful.

Can you post a *small* program example (using "code" LQ post formatting)?

I think/guess that your qps=QueriesPerSecond; what is the 'w' in 2.5w?

I think/guess you are referring to: what is returned from this web-search:
kernel intitle:accept() socket multiple threads

Best wishes and welcome to LQ! Your 'go' language post on this?
