How do I include my own system call in file system driver

I want to include my own system call in file system driver like
static struct file_operations ext3_file_operations = {
read: generic_file_read,
write: generic_file_write,
mmap: generic_file_mmap
mycall: ...............
};
How do I do it?

As a rule of thumb, you can't (easily). Main reason is that each and every driver would have to provide an implementation for this call.

Most commonly, to do something like that one extends the ioctl call.

Please use thread titles that summarise your problem and not things like "urgent" or "help". This helps other members know what your thread is about and increases the chances of you getting a reply.
