Help with DTrace IO
 

I'm looking for a quick tutorial on using DTrace IO on Linux. Any pointers?

How do you feel about wikis?

I suspect that's for the Solaris original code.

I've been watching this to see if anyone has actually used dtrace on Linux and has experience to share.
There has been quite some discussion on whether this is even needed - there are tools in Linux, but not the integration that dtrace can offer being privy to proprietary innards of that (Solaris) O/S.
Depends on what is wanted - see maybe systemtap and/or ftrace.
