Have somebody ported LKCD to RedHat 9 linux kernel?
I would like to ask if somebody have tried putting the LKCD (Linux Kernel Crash Dump) utility on the Linux 2.4.20-8 kernel of RedHat 9?
From the old archives of LKCD I found one version for 2.4.20 but there are already a lot of changes from 2.4.20 to that of 2.4.20-8. So if you have already ported it please help.
P.S. >>> I will still try to port it if nobody will help me at this time and should have it ready by next month. But if somebody alredy have it hte better.
I'd have to say LKCD has died. I started looking into it just as it was quietly disappearing.
You might be able to refit for a 2.4 kernel, but when you move up to 2.6, you'd better start looking at kdump.
