Error in Kernel.h file, while compiling the kernel
Dear All,
I want to configure the kernel 2.4.20 in my desktop and for that I am compiling the kernel, but duribg the 'make' command, it is giving me an error of
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:74: parse error before "va_list"/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:74: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:77: parse error before "va_list"/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:77: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:81: parse error before "va_list"/usr/src/linux-2.4.20/include/linux/kernel.h:81: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype
Can anybody tell me what this error is, first of all i was thinking that, it is possible if i hv done a mistake while xconfig the kerne and there fore i have done a default kernel configuration, but still that error is not going, so can anybody pls tell me what this error is, or is there anything wrong with the kernel?
Thanks,
Nishant
