Post echo 0 > /proc/sys/kernel/hung_task_timeout_secs,ppp0 interface not up due to this.


Hi,
Am trying to run the ppp daemon on console port of my board which has p2020 processor with linux kernel 2.6.32.
After running ppp interface ppp0 not coming up and getting error pppd blocked for more than 120 sec.Am not able to debug this,please help me how to come out of this error.

syslog output given below.

My guess that the console driver hung somewhere in the ioctl. Do you have access to the source code of the driver?

I have source code,i went through code base i suspect tty_ldisc_ref_wait putting the ioctl request from pppd to wait queue and unable to wake it up,due to this it was hanging,let me know your views on this issue.
