Dynamic nodes for device driver

Dear All,

to create a node I use

mknod /dev/sample c 253 0 on command line

Is there anyway to create nodes dynamically/in driver code itself ?

Thanks in advance ...

no idea but pls read your kernel src /Documentation/devices.txt as devices are associated with nodes that have been or are already created
