What distro of Linux are you using?
Yes you can change your kernel version. You can compile a new one, or some flavors of Linux have different kernel versions in their repository and you can use your package mgr to change it.
Downgrading may open you to security vulnerabilities though.
Does 2.6 25 do something that is messed up in 2.6.33?

Need a lot more info.

I don't know if the Linux2.6.25 can be compatible with Linux 2.6.33. It seems that I can't use Linux 2.6.25 on my SBC8018 after I tried.
OK, I know it doesn't work now. But if it is my fault to compile the kernel? Hope so. So can you tell me how to compile the kernel right?
