/dev/md0/ unexpected incosistency
Hi everyone

I have a problem with my e-mail server.

i have Centos 4.3(sme sever) software installed, i configured it for e-mail purpose, now when i log i receive an error saying /dev/md0/!UNEXPECTED INCOSISTENCY; Run fsck manually,i.e without -a or -p options
when i typed in fsck it gaves me warning saying running e2fsk on a mountable drive can erase the information.

What should i do should i press Yes? and there won't be a damage on my system?

Please help,my boss is my neck wanting his e-mails

How do i solve this problem?

My advise is to first backup your partition then restart and press Yes to accept the fsck check. fsck will fix the file system journal.

Unmount the array before running fsck on it, just like every other filesystem you would run fsck on.
