Angry Desktop not booting after upgrading to Fedora 21

Hi,

After the last update in Fedora 20 my desktop did not reboot. Hence I had to reboot using a previous working version.

Today I decided to upgrade to Fedora 21 and now I am unable to reboot even using the older versions or the rescue version.

These are the options I get;

Fedora (3.18.7.200.fc21.x86_64) 21 = Does not load
Fedora, with Linux 3.18.7-100.fc20.x86_64 = Did not work after update
Fedora, with Linux 3.17.8-200.fc20.x86_64 = Used to work, not anymore
Fedora, with Linux 3.17.4-200.fc20.x86_64 = Used to work, not anymore
Fedora, with Linux 0-rescue-b0a981859a684ca3b12741448acle509 = never used before, not working now

Whichever one of the above I select, it loads all the (whatever) saying [OK] started ... reached etc. etc. and comes and stops at -
Started GNOME Display Manager. and stops there and does not go any further

These are the commands I used to upgrade;
$ sudo yum update
$ sudo yum install fedup
$ sudo fedup-cli --network 21 --product=nonproduct
(found it on Linux Format magazine)

My display card is NVIDIA GeForce GT630 2048M DDR3 64B CRT DVI HDMI

I noticed some failures and I copied and saved what I could and emailed them to me before reboot. I have pasted them below if it is any help.

I am not very fluent with Linux - Hence please give me step by step instructions on how to intercept and get into terminal when rebooting etc.

Please help, Thank you!

Please see below - specially the last three lines

I could reinstall probably. Is there a way when installing I can specify it to boot in safe mode so I can manually install the nvidia driver?

Can you tell me how to boot to the command line? SI I can try to install the driver that way.

I did thankfully back-up all my files this time.

no need

after the install run
Code:
su -

yum update kernel\* selinux-policy\*

reboot
then
Code:
su -

yum --nogpgcheck install  http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm   http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-stable.noarch.rpm

yum install akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686
then
BLACKLIST the nouveau driver
Code:
su -

mv /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r)-nouveau.img

dracut /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img $(uname -r)

Thanks again JohnVV, but my problem is have no idea how to get to the command line interface. The screen comes and stops at Starting GNOME Display Manager and does not allow me to go any further. How do I intercept to get to the command line? or to the $ sign?
