Compilation error in application program which has newly added system call

Hello Sir,

In opensuse 2.6.31, I've written a system call in /kernel/sched.c ,it is successfully compiled.
And I've written a application program which call that system call, but the problem is when I compile it, I get a error message displaying "undefined reference ".

I want to know why this error is generated and how to solve it..?

Please help me to resolve this error.

Either you have called an include or lib that was not included in the compile or

Your code is ambiguous(as C can be) and it is being interpreted another was. Time to read the warnings. Compile it with "warning = error" and see.
