Can't Install the source off of my SuSE CD or find to download
I need the source code to make ndiswrapper but when I try to install it off of my SuSE 10.1 CD it says "Package not found", and details says that it "failed integrity check". My kernel is I found the source code for on, but I don't know if it is the same (it's a 35 meg file compared to the 212 on the CD, and it doesn't seem to have the files ndiswrapper wants).

I could upgrade the kernel with the new source, but I'm not sure how to do that.

Thanks for any advice!

basically suse will do some changes to the kernel source. So the answer is they are difference. So, what normally I do is:-
1. Install kernel, kernel source, ieee80211*
2. perform system update (it will update your kernel, kernel-source and etc)
3. the install ndiswrapper.

*Please don't use custom kernel, it will give you headache if you not familiar it (Unless you want to improve your skill, computer performance, or make some changes on the kernel)

I'm not really sure what you mean, but thanks for responding! I have no interest in using a custom kernel, I really just want to get my wifi working.

I upgraded the kernel with the openSUSE update tool to and was able to get the source for it with Yast, but I still can't seem to make ndisrapper. I am going to go post about it on the wifi forums,
