Boot problems with slackware 12

Hello ive been having problems for the last few hours with slackware 12 and trying to get it to boot from my HDD alas ive given up on that working but would like to be able to boot from usb instead of a cdrom

can anyone point me in the right direction ?

If you can't get it to boot from HD then trying a USB boot which is anyway not supported on many mobos is a bad idea.

What release are you using? What have you done so far and what is your problem exactly?
