Smile About the wireless Ap, where should be its country_code & channel setting file?

Hi, there. I was just now study for the wireless card to be connect as an Ap.I used DNXA-92 to do it.
But I was confused that where is the souce code should
setup for the 802.11a country code & 802.11a frequency.
If it is default, then where can I found these file for setting the ruled of country_code & frequency & channel?
Because as a common sence 802.11a , channel 12 should be
work. But I can't set the wireless Ap to channel2. That is why I try to find the location file for setting the details thing. If I got your answer I should be very appricated.

Hi

I don't have your hardware but until you get a better reply --

1) Can you use this device or not?

2) According to
http://unex.com.tw/product/dnxa-92.....you have model AR8280

it looks like an atheros device but its not clear to me if you need firmware or not as
http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/firmware-atheros has not mention of your model number of ar8280

3) If it does work for you, you might just need a graphical connect manager like wicd-gtk
http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/wicd-gtk

Of course I don't know if you use Debian so those were only examples above, your package manager should have similar names.

In summary
You are likely to have a kernel module called that starts with "ath"

You may have (or need firmware) as well

Once modules and/or firmware is loaded, you would run wicd or wicd-gtk to detect then connect to your router or access point

I used Ubuntu 12.04 , I don't use Debian , what should I do to get the similar names of wicd-gtk. Is that
Code:
apt-cache search wicd-gtk
to find the similar names to set it up
