4.16.4 - Bad or missing usercopy whitelist?

With the last version, 4.16.3, I used a swiotlb patch, so I could use the nvidia drivers 390.42.

When I booted up the kernel, I noticed in the logs this line;

Bad or missing usercopy whitelist? Kernel memory exposure attempt detected from SLUB object 'nvidia_stack_cache'

I have compiled in HARDENED_USERCOPY [=y]

My understanding is it's just a warning, but does anyone know when this will be fixed?

Thanks

It looks harmless. It may never be fixed.
