'ip xfrm state add' for cipher_null support

Hi,
We are trying to use 'ip xfrm state add...' for cipher_null but getting 'Function not implemented'. Our version is 2.6.21.7. Does any one know which linux should I be using in order to have this supported?

Also, I noticed that the kernel configuration has "CONFIG_XFRM=y" but I don't think it should matter but wanted to confirm with experts.

Thanks Much!

Yes, I was able to resolve this by setting the "CONFIG_CRYPTO_*" to 'y' in the linux configuration file, then rebuild.
