Zoom with MS Keyboard

Hello everybody...

My 21st is coming up in about two days here, and I got my first gift from a good friend: a MS Digital Media Keyboard... I really like it, and I've gotten almost everything to work just right, except the the shortcut keys 1-5, My Favorites key, the Calculator Key, Log Off Button, and most importantly the Zoom key...

I'm not too worried about the other ones, but my eyes have been getting bad, and I'm relying on ctrl++ and ctrl-- for viewing a lot of website text, so I'd really like to get the zoom key working... I try using xev and moving the button up and down, but I'm getting no codes...

I have changed the keyboard layout to every supported MS keyboard in Gnome, but none of them will give me the keycodes for the zoom button...

Does anybody know the keycodes, or have any ideas for finding them?

Thanks,
James.

open a terminal and run xev.this returns the info for every keystroke and mouse action.
lineak might be a program to look into for a custom config of the keyboard, and it might already be listed/supported.
myself,i use ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom.

Yeah... xev doesn't return any code for these keys though... But the ctrl+mouse wheel is a really good idea...

Thanks.

A few webpages have different styles that won't be affected by the font size you change from ctrl+middle.

Example:

http://www.maywood.com/

Just some examples :)

Sorry for the late response. It may be the different internet browsers. I tried it in IE6, doesn't work. Firefox, works fine. :-P
