Zoom 56k internal modem compatible or not?

hi there,
im running mandrake 10 and i have one Zoom 56k internal modem. I ve search a lot (google) in the inet trying to find a driver for it but the only things i found were posts from guys that said that there is a driver outhere (rpm) and some others that said that this modem is incompatible (..). Does anybody knows what its going on with this modem ?

For starters the scanmodem utility needs to be downloaded for you to identify the chipset of your modem and then find out if your modem is compatible to Linux.

You could go through this site: http://linmodems.org/ for more details.

Best of luck ... :-)
