Z-5300 THZ speakers with dellbuntu, low sound?

A brand new dellbuntu and set of Z-5300's won't play music. The internet makes sounds but not very loud even with the volume on full blast.

I read through a few mixer guides, but the volume seems to be maxxed everywhere.

Any Ideas?

Hi s1ugh34d, When you say "won't play music" what exactly will not play, i.e. mp3 files, wav files, audio cd, etc.?
Good luck. ;-)
