Exclamation yahoo messenger irritating !!


i am running redhat 9 on amd ... everytime i logout and login again
i get problem with fonts and everything turns into --- and i have to
to rm -rf .ymessenger and then run ymessenger and it does well
for one time again .... plz suggest me what to do as this is quite i
rritating !!!!

i would suggest getting gaim.

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

i haven't used it since all i use is msn.

it appears to be one of the most used, and developed IMers out there.

but gaim is not supporting yahoo nowadays..

not sure then, if it (gaim) still works with yahoo then why not keep using it until it stops working?

Last time I checked gaim does support yahoo, much better than the actual program they provide which was last released and tested with Redhat 8.0, in which you display your using 9.0, which could be half your problems your having with it.
