xvidtune doesn't work for my chip

I was trying to shift my screen position because a mm or two is unable to be seen on the left, and i tried to use xvidtune and it said that my chip was not supported. I have onboard nvidia and i am running Ubuntu 6.06. Is there another program that can be used to adjust the screen position?

I have yet to meet a distro that does not respond to xvidtune appropriately. The NVIDIA chips are probably the best supported in linux. So something is seriously wrong here.
Please supply details of your running distribution (you list three in your profile - which is causing the problem?), the video driver you have installed, the output from lspci -v, and the exact error message(s) from xvidtune
