XFree86Config file missing
 
The XFree86Config file has been deleted from my system. THere aer no backups. The X-Server does load. I am deprived of my gui. :cry:

Pleaes help me. I have redhat release -9:newbie:

Are you sure you don't have it in /etc/X11?

Yup I am sure. I know its not present anywhere on the hard-disk. So pleaes help me out.

How about /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 ?

I formatted my system and reinstalled Redhat 9. My X-Sever is working now, but on and off it still refuses to start
