Unhappy XFree86 radeon dri with 2.6-test1....


Hi,
I have a problem making the dri driver work with the new 2.6. kernel....
I tryed the DRI drivers in 2.6 and for 2.5 kernel patched drivesr form dri.sourceforge.... I get this error:

Problem II is .....
(II) Primary Device is: PCI 01:00:0
//Primary Radeon 1.00.0 is found....
(II) ATI: Candidate "Device" section "VESA Framebuffer".
(WW) ATI: PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 1:0:1 could not be detected!
(WW) RADEON: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:1) found
(--) Chipset ATI Radeon 9000 If (AGP) found
Secondary radeon not found....

KDE works but Direct Rendering is disabled....
Please help.... This makes me sick!!!

It sounds like you don't have the radeon dri module
compiled into your kernel and you don't have a dri
device. Check your configuration file.

look in /dev/dri
you should have a card0 device
if you don't have one use mknod
to create it
