XFree86 Problem

Hey all
I've jus installed mandrake 9.2 (usually run slack) and im having a problem with X.

I can start X fine when using the root account but when i login as a normal user and try to startx i just get this error

(ww) Radeon: No matching device section for instance (BusID Pci:3:0:1) found

Even tho both root and the normal user use the same XF86Config

Any ideas guys?

Thanks
Kane

Hmm...sounds to me like user doesn't have read access to XF86Config, try changing permissions and tell us what happens. I've never had that problem tho with mandrake (or any distribution). Wierd.

EDIT: Whoops, kgodbey beat me to it
