XBox 360 Controller

Hi there,

I hope this is in the right area, if not please put it in the right area and tell me that.

Anyway, I would like SIMPLE instructions to make my XBox 360 Wireless Controller work as a mouse, where the right trigger could be used as a right click and left one as a left click and any of the directional controllers moving the pointer which ever direction it needs to go. I have QJoyPad and XBoxdrv installed on my system. I am very confused how to use those and configure them. I do have the controller working perfectly when I run FCEUX (Nintendo 8 bit Emulator) to play my games there (I have not tested it out with my other emulators or MAME yet). I just want to use it instead of a mouse as well.

I am currently running Lenovo i7 E550 8gb RAM - Linux-Mint release 21

Thank-you!

There are no simple instructions for you. You would have to reverse engineer the thing for very little reward, imho.

You may find some dweeb has done it before and written it up online. Search for that first. Even then there's problems; If you're using your wifi to go online, your wifi won't go online and talk with your controller at the same time. My wireless keyboard & mouse don't even show in a wifi scan because the essid is hard wired & hidden.

Try and see if you can see this controller over wifi. If you can't, and I expect you won't, good luck connecting to it!
