X Server: unable to detect


I get error saying 'X server: unable to detect' when i try to install driver for radeon 9250 card.

How to correct this?

Install the driver and configure your /etc/X11/xorg.conf properly or if it doesn't work, switch to the original driver that did work ('ati' or 'radeon' or 'vesa' if nothing else works).
