Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

X-Box-Linux USB Key

I've been reading www.xbox-linux.org

There's the step were I need to transfer the Mech Assault Install files from USB Key to hard-disk's saved games place.

Can I use: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...oducts_id=2154 for the USB key part of installation?

I didn't understand that part of the installation. If the answer is yes, I'll be glad because after the USB key transfer I will be able to use that adapter for a Macintosh USB keyboard with builtin extra USB port for a mouse to plug into the keyboard.

P.S. It's not my XBox, I'm doing it for someone. As a Linux fan AND as a GAMER I'd never never never buy an XBox. PS2 is where the games are.

i think you can, but you need the software for the controlller, which used to be at codeunderground.com, but that site's dead now ( i wonder who killed it...)
i used the xid drivers on windows, but those didn't seem to include drivers for memory cards, although they might just show up as mass storage devices... i don't know cos i don't have a memory card.
