wtf?! nYko AirFlo USB Mouse
I just got a nYko AirFlo USB Mouse and matching USB joystick. I just got WinXP support for my USB as well. Linux already has USB. I plug the nYko AirFlo USB Mouse while sitting at Gnome, and immediately it picks up, but since I have a left handed mouse configuration, I expect the right button to be primary and the left button to be secondary. However, both buttons act as secondary, but the right button doubles as primary--same click! However, the right click part prevents me from doing ANYTHING under Gnome. My PS/2 mouse remains unaffected and was still working. However, if I go to a right handed mouse configuration, both mice behave properly. I go to XP, The nYko mouse works properly, with the left-handed configuration I have under XP (from my PS/2 mouse, still connected, both work right). ...so I remove my PS/2 mouse, go back to RedHat 9, and Kudzu picks up the change in hardware and does the expected adjustments. I then put back the Left Handed Mouse mode with the same results as before--right button (expected primary) acts mostly as secondary, though the Gnome Menu pops up as expected, though it closes back the moment I lift off the mouse button. The left button is secondary as expected. Is this a USB Mouse bug? Bad mouse support? Anyone ever heard of this? btw: I went back to Right Hand Mouse mode under Gnome, but still have left handed under XP.
