Write a simple driver for a usb device
 
hi, I want to write a simple driver for a USB device, I would also like to know what is probing? how do i go ahead for a USB pen drive driver?

am studying it as of now... I know the basics of linux drivers and have done kernel programming before.

'Linux Device Drivers, Third Edition' and 'Linux Kernel in a Nutshell' are good reference that will aid you.
