WOW - - -New Linux

I can see the moderator comming and killing this post and that is fine. But what trip to come back to linux forums 2 years later and see that it has become a metropolis.

Ah my post.......

Help. I am in a bit of a bind. I have a new linux OS that is being put on a terabyte NAS box that I need some beta testers to help me with.

And seeing the growth this place has udergone there is no doubt that I can find some linux admins who love to play with toys and debug hew hardware and get some free stuff in the process.

Anybow if you read this before they remove it. please register at http://www.cpu-solution.com and register and put in your bio that you saw the post here.

Thanks.

And BTW Jeremy Great job with the site. I see you even took some of my advice from way back on some items to make this a more productive site.

Cheers.

Yeah, every time I log in after a three day lapse and see "There have been 5000 threads since you were last online", I tend to almost herf.

This isn't exactly advertising, seems like recruitment for volunteers... okay, grey area, fine with me, but as soon as you start peddling lies and candy you're out mister!

A Terabyte NAS server? You know that's vulgar right?

Cheers,

Finegan

actually a type like yourself is what I am in need of .

This is for a major company that has a NAS device on the market with M$. But is trying its hand with a linux version. and trust me they are in dire need of help.

But I do thank you for not pulling the thread. I can truly tell you that I am not giving candy or telling lies. I just need some people outside of Utah that are willing to play with a rack mounted terabyte box for 3 weeks and see what they think of it.

The first Beta has been done, but now I need a broader audience.

Pretty simple.

But again thanks.
