Hi williamvw, I am running a Belkin N1 wireless Network at Home, works only with Windows-PC or Windows Laptop.
I emailed Belkin, there are no Drivers for Linux Machines.
Thanks Klafilin for taking the time to reply. Actually, there does seem to be a way to get the N1 by Belkin to operate (at least in Ubuntu -- and should work for all linux; mine is SUSE, but not getting much in way of replies there). There is a series of posts in: Ubuntu Forms; Main Support Categories; Networking & wireless; Help Installing the Belkin N1 USB Adaptor. It is of August of last year, and didn't finally say was actually "using" the N1, but it deals with how to use ndiswrapper to have it operable. It looks good, and you might give it a try (I will when finally get one -- all local stores only carrying the N by Belkin; this is 9 months after someone else bought it elsewhere).
Hi williamvw, just finished installing all wireless adapters and adapter Cards, Belkin N1
on Network running Windows and UBUNTU 8.10. Works perfect. Thanks for your Advice.
