Wireless speakers for Linux?

Some time ago, I tried to get a wireless speaker for my Linux box, but I failed.
I read somewhere that using wireless speakers produce better sound than bluetooth speakers. I don't know if that is true.
In any case, I would like to know of any good folks out there using either {wireless, bluetooth, other non wired} speaker on Linux on Linux without the suffering I describe on the aforementioned post.
Thanks for reading this.

I think the best speaker is using wire, because you dont need to have extra battery for your wireless speaker and signal get through
directly to speaker and save more power consumptions. Some wireless speaker are using RF signal or radio frequency and some are bluetooth.

Thanks for your answer.
Actually, on my original post I should have said "I read somewhere that using RF signal speakers produce better sound than bluetooth speakers"
I was just trying to save the hasle of more cables running back and forth.
But I guess you are right. At the end of the day, simpler is better, and that does not necessarily mean wireless :)

Yes that's my opinion. Many advantages and disadvantages of a wireless speaker (RF Signal or Bluetooth).
Advantage:
1. No cable or wire to install.
2. Easy to install.

Disadvantage:
1. Battery for power supply.
2. Limited Area Frequency Signals.
3. More power consumptions.
