Wireless keyboard Logitech K330 doesn't work

I've installed Ubuntu (kernel 3.13) from Ubuntu minimal CD with my keyboard working. However after rebooting, system doesn't recognize it - I cannot write a letter while logging in. The keyboard itself is working because I managed to enter BIOS set-up. What is missing then and what can I do to have keyboard be recognized by system? I think it misses something because the keyboard is working if I choose e.g. full desktop installation.

I would hook up another keyboard and check your logs and dmesg, and take a took for any abnormalities/warnings/errors about your device. If it is completely working as you said with the full install, I'd personally do the same and take note at the driver being loaded, etc. That should be a good starting point, as there isn't all too much that would cause this besides a driver issue.

liquid_,

Bug reported-was it fixed?

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+s...ux/+bug/975198

If the suggested fix does not work then try a wired keyboard pending a permanent solution to the problem.

Since you were able to install then the system did have the resources. On reboot is the question.

Does mouse work? Does bios have legacy setting for usb/keyboard? If you remove keyboard either before boot or after boot and then attach does it work?

Yes indeed, so I rather think I'm (system) missing something.
I installed system from minimal CD due to other reasons. This installation leaves desktop without graphics at all.

No graphics - no mouse.
Legacy BIOS for USB is enabled. Nothing special is present about keyboard.
Removing and inserting dongle exercised and doesn't make a change.

For information, this is the output form lsusb and dmesg
lsusb

See if live media shows same lsusb and driver.

Seems like it should work with install. Do you have many of these? Change batteries in keyboard just for grins.

Batteries are OK. Keyboard is working before Linux starts (enters Bios).

See if the installer tests you listed also show the same as the installed reports.

A little amendment. If I plug in wired keyboard it works fine.
