So wut Im gonna do is tomorrow morning I go and Buy Another Wireless Card that is supported ...
Any Ideas ?
If you can't get Internet dial-tone (google) but can get to the rest of the network have you checked your DNS settings? One thing you can try is get the IP address of an external site and see if you can browse to it. If that works then recheck you DNS configuration. PS Before you buy a new wireless card, check here for compatibility http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz Also, there is wireless card manager you can install through YAST that will give you the status of your wireless card.
Thank You, Do you know the name of the Wireles Manager ?
Yeah My problem was I had set the DHCP my self instead of leting the pc adquire them by request :S ...

Glad to hear you've made some progress! The wireless manager is:
kdenetwork3-wireless - Wireless Card Manager
Just search for "wireless" in YaST's software setup module and you'll find it. Don't ask me how to configure it - I just use it to confirm my connection and signal power. Otherwise my wireless connection just runs in the background quite happily.
Hey Budy, I tried donwloading and install it because it wasnt on my CD or into the PC installed already ...
I donwloaded it and install it but I dont know where to find It, I opened the Control Panel YaSt and searched for Wireless and nothing comes up, :S ...
Any Idea how can I run it ?
Im not sure if Im running ProVersion .. :s ..
But I have installed the RPM file using the YAST Manager.. then I reboot but when I type Kwifimanager i get
[ Bash: kwifimanager: command not found ]
but for the fist time when I type iwconfig I get on the Link Quality 100/100 .. instead of 0/100 like b4. ...
but on the BootLog says 9 Wireless Card Unsupported :S ) ..
I have tryed to install the ipw2100 Drivers.. but I get and error saying MEDIA NOT FOUND ... any idea ?
