Wireless-G Linksys about knoppix & KANOTIX

Ok, heres my question , I was able to get KANOTIX online in linux with the following programs , kanotix-ndiswrapper to load windows drivers and then type in the ESSID name & Key in wlcardconfig which is wavelan configure program and then run netcardconfig and select for it to enable
Use DHCP broadcast and anwsered yes here

robert@Linksys:~$ iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

wlan0 IEEE 802.11g ESSID:""
Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: -------------
Bit Rate:48 Mb/s Tx-Power:25 dBm
RTS thr:2347 B Fragment thr:2346 B
Power Management:off
Link Quality:99/100 Signal level:-59 dBm Noise level:-256 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:420 Invalid misc:14796 Missed beacon:0

eth0 no wireless extensions.
ok all that ok but , the kernel does not what to load the info on startup , I want to get it running on start up but it does not seem to keep the ESSID and Key info when it gets back
into KDE , it fails to load DHCPserver questions on bootup too,
I was also thinking about using gentoo with ndiswrapper too but , would it work better than KANOTIX and Knoppix and does it have dniswrapper on the first boot cdrom so you can setup the network thought it and if I got it up and running would it work right to loadup the linksys-G network card to using the router for net acess with dsl?

here more info on the card with ifconfig
robert@Linksys:~$ ifconfig

I use --- to remove placement for the number which I don't think I should post online

also info on card from PCI info Center
Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 03)
Subsystem: Linksys: Unknown device 0015
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 32, IRQ 11
Memory at feafe000(32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8k]

annd from linksys site the card is called Wireless-G PCI Adapter with SpeedBooster
model number is WMP54GS

MY basic question is how to get this card working right with any linux version that will bootup the Network card with the internet acesss thou router that connected to dsl connection question for bootup it up from linux kernel? So how can I fix this to load on bootup , also it works just fine once you gothou wavelan config and network configure program but it does not remember that info on kernel bootup , it seems to not keep in online from bootup in KANOTIX and also knoppix but these are the only linux that I have yet to make acess the net in linux
