Question wireless card airsnort


How can i tell if my wireless card can this be capable of rf monitor mode, and that is pass monitor packets up via the PF_PACKET interface useing airsnort.How can i tell if my wireless pc card can do that

If its a prism2 based card, a Lucent card, or a Cisco aironet, it can be put into monitor mode, there are patches for each of the 3 driver sets that deal with those cards so as to allow for monitor mode... actually, no cisco has it built into airo_cs by default I think... What's your card?
