wireless card
I have posted this on other sites and have not had anyone able to help me. I bought a new Gateway laptop with an internal Realtek Wireless card. Linux does not recognize the card so I contacted the vendor and was given the Linux driver. Now that I have the driver I don't know what directory to install it in to, or what I need to do to install the card so Linux will recognize it.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks Fran |

See if that has any answers for you. I apologize for not providing a more in-depth answer. Linux + WiFi is still a region on my knowledge map that reads "There be dragons here." |
Some people may or may not agree with me and I've never had a sufficient reason to do it any other way, but I'm sure you can create a hidden directory within /home and install it from there.
