Wireless Adapter help

I am a complete and total n00b to linux and recently installed Mandrake 9 on my 2nd hard drive. On Win 98 i run on this hard drive I have a wireless usb linksys adapter for my internet connection. Is there anyway too get it to work with linux? I figure internet it the first thing I should try to get up and running, so I don't have to reboot to get to Windows everytime I need to ask a question! Also, I have a SB audigy 2, a Geforce4 Ti4200, and all the games that came with the distro run like molasses. Any suggestions for that? Thanks in advance!

With the wireless no, but for the games, you have to go to nvidia.com and download their drivers. The games are slow because you are running the software openGL drivers from MESA.

With the wireless device, yes, its either covered by the drivers from the linux-wlan project or its an atmel chipset, depending on which version of the WUSB11 we're talking about: 2.6, 2.5, 2.7 are all different in some way or another. Check:

www.linux-wlan.net

atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net
