Compuwiz LQ Newbie Registered: May 2006 Posts: 12 Rep:	Wireless activity makes noise in speakers, even when muted I am running SuSE 10.1 and finally got my wireless network card to work on my laptop using madwifi (ran into a problem the beginning, did some research and fixed it eventually, sweet now). However, I have noticed with my wireless card activity, sometimes there are "crackling" noises coming from my speaker. I muted the master volume, and it still continues to crackle slightly. Most of the time it crackles when I am loading webpages. I plugged my headphones in, and I heard it in there as well. Any thoughts? Thanks!
