Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Unhappy Wireles Mouse

I have two computers with Mandrake 9.1 on them. When I installed Mandrake one computer it had a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. No problem. The other had a standard two button mouse. No problem. Today I switched the computers and on the one that did have the wireless mouse, now has the standard mouse. I was able to get in to the command line and bring up mousedrake and got it to work, no problem. BUT, the one that had the standard mouse now has the wireless keyboard and the wireless mouse. Hey, the wireless keyboard works No Problem. Used mousedrake again and the mouse will not work at all. I then tried a USB mouse and could not get it to work. Would appreciate an ideas or resources where I might learn how to get the wireless mouse to work on the Mandrake 9.1 computer or at least the USB mouse. Thanks
Ed
