wintv usb2

I just installed suse 9.3 on my new dell inspiron 6000. Everything is working well and I am very pleased. I also purchased a Hauppauge WinTV USB2. Does anybody know if it is possible to get this working in Linux. I have seen some posts for other WinTV products, but not this one. I opened up the software, but I didn't see anything. Are there any docs about this? Any information would be appreciated.

Hi - you could try http://pvrusb2.dax.nu/ although it is not specifically for Suse.

Just for your info: I googled: hauppauge wintv usb2 on linux ---- it only returned 131,000 hits!

Good luck

I have been able to find some stuff about the WinTv pvr-usb2. This is the article you sent me. I don't know if my device is the same device. I have seen very little on the "WinTv Usb2" that is helpful. I guess it is new. That really stinks. If anybody has any additional information regarding this card, it would be appreciated. If I can use the WinTv pvr-usb2 drivers then I will do that, but I don't want to screw up my machine by installing the wrong drivers.
